Discover the benefits of dental implants at Legacy Surgery. Enjoy natural, secure teeth with our affordable packages and expert care.

Dental implants provide a reliable and long-lasting solution for individuals who have lost one or more teeth due to injury, decay, or other dental issues. Many people hesitate to consider dental implants due to the perceived high cost.

The truth is that the cost of dental implants can vary because each person’s mouth is unique!

At Legacy Surgery, we will work with you and your insurance company to find an affordable option. We also provide financing options through a third party to help you manage the cost of the procedure. We recommend scheduling a consultation to get an accurate cost estimate for your dental implants.

About Dental Implant Costs

When comparing costs for dental implants, it’s important to remember that dental implants are considered “medical devices” and involve a team of dental professionals. The placement of dental implants requires both art and science.

You’re investing in a service rather than a product – a service that has the potential to transform your life and provide you with permanent teeth.

You may find a dentist who offers dental implants at a lower cost, but cost should not be the only thing you consider. They may not have the skill and experience needed for a successful and long-lasting outcome.

The cost of dental implants can vary based on various factors, including the number of teeth being replaced, the type of implant used, and any additional procedures that may be required. Dental implants may have a higher upfront cost than other tooth replacement options, but they are a long-term investment in your oral health and often end up costing less in the long run.

What’s Included in Dental Implant Costs?

Our fees for dental implants include all necessary components and procedures for a successful implant placement.

Initial Consultation

Your first visit with us is crucial. This consultation helps us to plan out your personalized treatment.

What happens during your implant consultation?

When you arrive for your implant consultation, a treatment coordinator will take a scan of your mouth and jaw area with a 3D cone beam scanner. The scanner captures information that is not possible with a 2D x-ray and produces more precise, crystal-clear images.

Dr. Kesecker will assess the health of your teeth and jaws, review your scan, assess your needs, and suggest a treatment plan. Our treatment coordinator will then sit down with you to discuss your treatment plan and provide a clear breakdown of your financial investment. If needed, we will also explore third party financing options with you.

The cost of your consultation is $500, or $410 with a referral from your dentist. Dr. Kesecker will perform your surgery and any other procedures required for dental implants. Your dentist will be informed throughout the surgical process and will provide the final restoration.

Bone Grafts

Patients who have experienced significant bone loss may require bone grafts. The bone graft procedure may be performed separately, several months before the implant placement. It will take several months to heal and for the graft to fuse with the existing bone.

Bone grafting may result in extra costs and may also require multiple visits, as the graft needs time to integrate with the bone and for the tissues to heal.

Surgery

Following the first consultation, you will be scheduled for surgery, during which the dental implants will be placed, and the new teeth will be fitted and adjusted. Although these will not be your final restoration, you will leave our office with beautiful, fixed, and functional teeth after this visit.

Follow-Up Appointment

After 3–6 months, when the implants have fused to the natural bone, you will return to your dentist. They will take new impressions of your mouth to prepare your final restorations. The final restorations will be adjusted for a perfect fit.

Sedation Dentistry

During the dental implant procedure, some patients may opt to be sedated with general anesthesia if they feel too nervous to be fully awake during the surgery. If this is a concern for you, consider asking for a sedative to help ease your anxiety. If you are a candidate for dental sedation, this will be included in your final cost.

Teeth Location

The location of the teeth being replaced also affects the cost of treatment. Front teeth are more difficult for the surgeon to work on and require greater skill to make the implant look natural. Generally, these visible teeth are more expensive to work on, as the surgery tends to take longer.

Are Dental Implants the Best Value for You?

By choosing dental implants, you are investing in your long-term oral health and quality of life.

Look and perform just like natural teeth

Implants are permanently attached and secure, so you can eat whatever you like. Enjoy juicy steaks, crisp apples, and corn on the cob without worrying about dentures or bridges that may slip. You will enjoy a natural look and feel with implants. You can also care for them like real teeth, brushing and flossing regularly.

Protect your long-term dental health

Dental implants can help preserve the bone around your missing teeth and protect your facial structure. They also prevent your teeth from shifting, which can affect your bite.

Preserve healthy neighboring teeth

Unlike other tooth replacement options, dental implants do not require altering or damaging the surrounding natural teeth. This means preserving your healthy teeth and maintaining a beautiful, complete smile.

More cost-effective in the long run

Dental implants cost more than dentures but last longer. Since implants have a longer lifespan, they provide better value in the long run despite their higher initial cost.

They are a superior option for dental restoration because they are more natural and secure. Other options, like tooth-supported bridges, need to be replaced every 10 years on average. In contrast, dental implants have a success rate of 90-95% over ten years.
