Legacy Surgery accepts major credit cards, check and cash. If you qualify, we can arrange a payment plan through a third party that spreads your payments out over time. To help us provide the best service possible at an affordable cost, we ask that you pay for your treatment on the day of your appointment.

At Legacy Surgery, we work closely with you and your insurance company to ensure that the claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner and that you receive the appropriate coverage for our services.
If we participate with your plan, we will file the claim for you. At the time of service, you are responsible for:
- Co-pays/co-insurance
- Non-covered services
- Deductibles
If we do not participate with your insurance plan, we will still file a claim to your insurance for you. However, you remain financially responsible for all charges incurred. Note: We do not file claims with liability/accident insurance carriers and our office is opted out of Medicare and Medicaid.
Other Financing Options
At Legacy Surgery, it is our intent to help you make the best decision possible pertaining to your dental needs. For some people, making an investment in themselves through their dental care is something new. We understand this and want you to find value in your smile. It is rare that we cannot help someone come up with ways to make their dental care affordable, even if it means completing care over a period of time. Insurance is a contract between the patient and/or employer and the insurance company. It is not a contract between our office and your insurance company. Our office is committed to helping patients maximize their benefits. Insurance policies vary greatly. Therefore, due to the complexity of the insurance plans, we can only estimate in good faith, not guarantee coverage. Your estimated patient portion must be paid in full at the time service is delivered. As a service to our patients, we will bill your insurance company for service and allow them to render payment. After the insurance processes, you are responsible for any remaining balance which is due in full.
CareCredit Financing®
CareCredit is an excellent way to make cosmetic dentistry financing easier. Popular among our Harrisonburg patients, CareCredit is designed specifically for dental health care expenses. Many of our patients use CareCredit in order to fit the dentistry they want into their budgets. We can often get approval for our patients to finance their dental care over time at lower rates than any credit card. And, in some cases, interest-free financing can be obtained.
